Ljubljana, 26 June - Ten years ago the then Slovene assembly adopted the basic constitutional charter on the autonomy and independence of the Republic of Slovenia, declaring Slovenia an independent state. The declared independence had to be defended in a war, and Slovenia succeeded in that, the Slovene daily Delo writes on Tuesday.
