Shareholders of Pomurska Bank Surprisingly Reject NLB's Takeover Bid

Murska Sobota/Velenje, 26 June - Shareholders of Pomurska banka, the largest bank in the northeasternmost part of Slovenia, rejected on Tuesday a planned takeover by Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB), Slovenia's largest state-owned bank, in a move labelled by the chairman of the Pomurska banka management board, Viktor Sbuel, as "surprising".
