Slovenia Has Made a Long Journey over the Past Ten Years, Says Dutch Prime Minister
Ljubljana, 26 June - Slovenia has made a long journey over the past ten years, and, being one of the front-runners for membership in the EU and NATO, the country also has every reason to be optimistic about the future, Dutch Prime Minister Wim Kok, the highest-ranking Dutch official to ever visit Slovenia, told the press on Tuesday after meeting Slovene officials. Kok, who has completed a one-day visit, held meetings with his Slovene counterpart Janez Drnovsek, President Milan Kucan and Speaker of the National Assembly Borut Pahor.
