Spain Prepared to Sign Bilateral Agreement with Slovenia on Free Movement of Labour
Madrid, 28 June - Spain is prepared to sign a very liberal bilateral agreement on free movement of labour after Slovenia becomes a member of the EU, and expects Slovenia to officially address this issue during the visit of Spain's Foreign Minister Josep Pique to Slovenia scheduled for 18 July, Janez Potocnik, Slovenia's head negotiator with the EU told STA on Thursday after talks in Madrid, which focused on Spain's EU presidency in the first half of 2002.
