Successors to Former Yugoslavia Sign Umbrella Succession Agreement
Vienna, 29 June - The foreign ministers of five countries - successors to the former Yugoslavia signed an umbrella succession agreement in Vienna on Friday. All signatories, including Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel reiterated how important the agreement was for stability in the region and for future relations between the successors. They also expressed their countries' commitment to fulfil the agreement, which now has to be ratified by parliaments of all five successor states.
