Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic EU's Favourites, Slovenia at Bottom of the List

Ljubljana, 2 July - Almost half, that is 45 percent of the EU citizens would like to see the Union to admit only certain candidate countries, stating their highest support for Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic, have shown the results of the latest Eurobarometer, a semi-annual survey on the EU integration, conducted among the EU citizens. The first results of the poll, however, do not offer any information on what is the support of EU citizens for Slovenia and will only be available in autumn. Slovenia ratings have never been high, with the country usually ranked at the bottom of popularity charts.
