Simobil Increases Revenues, Generates Record Loss

Ljubljana, 4 July - Slovenia's second mobile telephony operator Simobil, which is in majority ownership of the Austrian mobile operator Mobilkom, generated revenues of SIT 5.33 billion (EUR 24.5 million) in 2000, up SIT three billion (EUR 13.8 million) over 1999. Net loss, however, increased from SIT 1.8 billion (EUR 8.3 million) to SIT 5.79 billion (EUR 26.6 million), the company said on Wednesday.
