IMAD Corrects Economic Growth and Inflation Estimate
Ljubljana, 4 July - Slovenia's economic growth in 2001 is to stand at 4.4 percent at year-end, while inflation is expected to total 8.5 percent, a report compiled the Institute for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development (IMAD) indicates. The IMAD thus corrected its March estimate when it predicted that Slovenia's economic growth would total 4.5 percent in 2001, while the inflation rate predicted in March was to total 7.8 percent.
