Volunteers Are Overwhelming Potential for the State

Ljubljana, 4 July - An army of volunteers in over 15,000 associations, which numbers in hundred thousands, represents an overwhelming potential for Slovenia. This is why the state should encourage the associations, provide tax relief and subsidise them, it was said on Wednesday at a conference on volunteering organised by the National Council and the Council of Slovene Associations.
