Slovene Marathon Swimmer Breaks World Record

Pecs, 7 July - Slovene ultra-marathon swimmer Martin Strel broke yet another record late on Friday when he arrived in Hungary's Pakcs after a non-stop swim of almost 500 kilometres on the Danube river. He thus bettered the previous world record set by Argentinean Ricardo Hoffmann, who swam 481.5 kilometres in 84 hours and 37 minutes, by more than three and a half minutes.
