Flight Controllers Threaten With Strike Blocking Air Traffic

Ljubljana, 9 July - Flight controllers at Brnik Airport, Slovenia's major airport, threaten to stage a strike at 2:30 PM on Wednesday in what would be a complete closure of Slovene airspace both for Slovene and foreign air carriers. The announcement to go on strike follows the government's failure to meet the commitments made by the former transport minister, the head of the flight controllers' trade union, Grega Bukovec, told STA.
