Exports on the Increase in May

Ljubljana, 13 July - Slovene exports in May totalled US$ 787.9 million and imports amounted to US$ 909.9 million. Trade deficit thus stood at US$ 122 million, the imports-exports coverage standing at 86.6 percent. Exports increased by 6.4 percent over May 2000, while imports were up 2.7 percent, figures released by the National Statistical Office show.
