Encouraging First-Half Results for Lek

Ljubljana, 13 July - Slovene pharmaceutical company Lek reported that its half-yearly sales for 2001 amounted to 34.5 billion tolars (158 million euros), a jump of 26 percent over the same period last year. Sales in the first half of 2000 thus amounted to 55 percent of the yearly sales forecasts, added the company.
