The head of the National Council of Carinthian Slovenes Bernard Sadovnik met with U.S. officials and Slovenes living in the U.S. during his two-week trip to North America. Sadovnik discussed the position of the Slovene minority in the Austrian province of Carinthia and stressed that the U.S. should pay more attention to minority issues in its policies.
