EU Index Reveals Slovenia Among Most Eurosceptical EU Candidates
Ljubljana, 19 July - Slovenia seems rather eurosceptical, as the prevailing mood is distrust in the EU, it does not feel ready to become a member, and economic expectations are divided. 42 percent of respondents would back EU accession, while 37 would be against Slovenia becoming an EU member; 21 percent answered with "I do not know", according to results of the international survey EU Index, conducted among 12,000 inhabitants of 12 EU candidate countries.
