Ljubljana Stock Exchange Sees Low Turnover

Ljubljana, 21 July - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange last week recorded a turnover of SIT 5.88 billion (27 million euros), half of which were lot deals. The Slovene benchmark index SBI 20 lost 20.66 points (1.11 percent) to close the week at 1844.98 points, the authorised investment companies' index PIX dropped 2.06 points (0.15 percent) to stand at 1374.5 points, while the free market index IPT gained 18.22 points (1.21 percent) to 1526.71 points. The bond index BIO was down 0.36 percent (0.33 percent) to stand at 109.1 points on Friday.
