Gov't Presents Programme to Boost Foreign Direct Investments

Ljubljana, 22 July - With foreign direct investment (FDI) totalling only one percent of the GDP in 1999 and 2000, Slovenia comes in last among candidate countries for the first round of EU accession, spurring the Slovene government to adopt a programme promoting foreign direct investments in Slovenia for the period from 2001 to 2004.
