Slovenia's Foreign Debt on the Increase

Ljubljana, 26 July - Slovene foreign reserves totalled 4.825 billion U.S. dollars at the end of May, up 454.9 million dollars over the amount at the end of last year. Despite the increase in foreign reserves, the total foreign debt of Slovenia exceeded the reserves by 1.677 billion dollars at the end of May. The debt stood at 6.502 billion dollars, up 285 million dollars in the same period, it is revealed in the latest Bulletin of the Bank of Slovenia.
