Gov't Establishes Largest Slovene Company

Ljubljana, 26 July - The government endorsed an act on the establishment of the Holding Slovenske elektrarne, a holding of Slovene power plants, at its session on Thursday. This holding is to unite the hyrdo-electric plants based on the Drava, Sava and Soca rivers, as well as the steam power plants in Brestanica and Sostanj and the Velenje coal mine. The holding is to be the largest Slovene company.
