Finance Minister Believes Inconsistent Wages Are a Real Issue

Ljubljana, 27 July - Inflation is a priority of the Slovene government, but it is not the only one. Economic growth and social security are also important, said Slovene Finance Minister Anton Rop late last night in an interview for TV Slovenia. Rop said that the government will continue the restrictive policy on price control and a policy of stable public finances, as counter-inflation measures. This means the public finances deficit would have to be decreased and the budget balanced, according to him.
