Ethnicity on Other Side of Border Slovenia's Fate

Maribor, 28 July - Efforts to establish the Slovene-Hungarian border crossing Cepinci-Verica, which is to be opened in December, are as old as the independent Slovenia. Still the crossing is only the second direct link with the Slovene minority living in Hungary, which has never in history been lucky enough not to be separated from the mother nation by some hard-to-cross border, writes the Saturday supplement of the Maribor-based daily Vecer.
