Moscovici and Drnovsek Discuss Slovenia's Bid to Join the EU
Brdo pri Kranju, 5 September - France's Europe Minister Pierre Moscovici, who arrived for a two-day visit to Slovenia earlier today, said that Slovenia would join the EU among the first new countries, and stressed France's support for Slovenia's EU aspirations. He thought that Slovenia has an excellent negotiating team. The French minister, who met with Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek at Brdo pri Kranju, some 30 km NW of Ljubljana, also gave a positive assessment of Slovenia's economic and political situation, Drnovsek's Office told STA.
