Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee Critical of N-Plant Agreement with Croatia
Ljubljana, 5 September - Although the Slovene parliamentary committee for foreign affairs has already given the green light to Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek to sign the Slovene-Croatian agreement on the Krsko-based nuclear power plant (NEK), today's conclusion of the committee's heated debate on the NEK negotiations report resulted in a doubt whether the agreement would be ratified by the Slovene Parliament if MPs do not get satisfactory answers to some of their questions.
