PM Drnovsek: Slovenia Ready to Sign Agreements with Croatia
Ljubljana, 6 September - After getting government approval and the green light from the competent parliamentary committee, Slovenia is ready to sign the agreements on the border and on the jointly-owned Krsko N-plant (NEK) with Croatia. Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, speaking on Thursday after the government session, was confident that both agreements could be ratified in Slovenia, but pointed out that the situation in Croatia does not look so promising at the moment, chiefly as regards the border agreement.
