Ljubljana, 8 September - Relations between Slovenia and Croatia topped the week's headlines, as Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan began to scramble to find a way to mass support for the border agreement between the two countries. Drnovsek responded to events in Croatia by reminding of the importance of the border agreement and its passage through parliament. EU issues were, as always, also in the headlines as France's Europe Minister Moscovici paid a two-day visit, while chief EU negotiators from the best prepared EU candidate countries gathered in the sea-side resort of Portoroz.
