More Funds Needed for Slovene Agriculture to Bring it in Line with that of the EU
Ljubljana, 13 September - Slovenia should allocate more funds to agriculture restructuring and countryside development, said president of the Slovene Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZS) Peter Vrisk, who on Thursday again argued that the demands for considerable funds that should be foreseen for agriculture in the next two years are legitimate. KGZS reportedly demands SIT 86 billion (392 million euros) of budgetary funds for next year, while the Finance Ministry has proposed SIT 47 billion (214 million euros).
