Is Now the Time for Business Diplomacy?
Portorož, 13 September - Some hundred officials have gathered at a round table discussion Diplomacy and Economy on Thursday, discussing whether it is diplomacy that should encourage economy or is it economy that should encourage politics. President of the Slovene Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jozko Cuk said at the panel, which took place at the seaside resort of Portoroz as part of a business conference, that he would like to see the Slovene diplomacy serving the economy in a better way, as Slovenia is one of the most export-oriented countries in Europe.
