Slovenia Joins the Rest of the World in Minutes of Silence

Ljubljana, 14 September - A three-minute silence was held across Slovenia at noon CET on Friday as a mark respect for the victims of Tuesday's terrorist attacks in the U.S., with flags at half mast, state institutions and some factories interrupting their work, and the Ljubljana Stock Exchange pausing for three minutes. The minutes of mourning were also observed by secondary-school students.
