Slovene Parliament Remembers Victims of Terrorist Attacks in U.S.
Ljubljana, 14 September - The Slovene parliament held a special session Friday in rememberance of victims of Tuesday's terrorist attacks on the U.S.. "This session is not only a message of the great compassion felt with the victims and their families and a message of sincere solidarity with the American people, but also a message of a joint resistance against those who are trying to force an occupied world upon us," Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor emphasised in an address before Slovene lawmakers, other high officials and U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia Nancy Ely-Raphel. The gathered paid a minute of silence in remembrance of the victims of the attack.
