U.S. Ambassador Hands Letter of Thanks to Minister Rupel
Ljubljana, 14 September - U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia Nancy Ely-Raphel handed a letter to Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, in which she expressed thanks in the name of the American people for the expressions of compassion that they received from Slovenia following the terrorist attacks against New York and Washington. She also expressed thanks in the name of U.S. President George W. Bush for the expressions of support and solidarity and the offered assistance, the Slovene Foreign Ministry reported.
