Judgement Day for Duty Free Shops on Border with EU
Ljubljana, 19 September - Duty free shops on the Slovene border with the EU - ie. Austria and Italy - are open for their last day on Wednesday, as they get ready to shut-down in accord with the duty free shop reform act. Some 40 duty free shops on Slovenia's border with the EU will undergo an inventory check on Thursday and by Friday their operations are expected to be in line with all other shops around Slovenia.
