Slovene Chemical Industry Searching for Ways to Boost Productivity
Maribor, 19 September - The chemical industry is the most successful line of business in Slovenia, employing a total of 23,000 workers in some 596 companies which generate 15 percent of all revenues of the Slovene manufacturing industry and more than a quarter of its profits. Despite this, it still lags behind European counterparts, it was highlighted during a conference focussing on the future of the Slovene chemical industry, currently being held in Maribor.
