Mercator CEO Sets Down His Vision for the Largest Slovene Retailer

Ljubljana, 20 September - Stock of the largest Slovene retailer would be ideally structured in three equal shares, held by the management, domestic food processing companies and a foreign strategic partner, said Mercator's head Zoran Jankovic on the margin of the Portoroz conference Slovene Trade - a Clear Vision or Crossroads?, organised by the Ljubljana Association of Economists on Thursday. Jankovic would prefer to see the U.S. chain Wall-mart to be Mercator's partner, however Mercator was unable to interest the world's largest retailer.
