Events in the U.S. to Give New Swing to EU Enlargement
Ljubljana, 21 September - The recent terrorist attacks against the U.S. will sooner give a new swing to the EU enlargement process than stop it, Graham Avery, Chief Adviser for strategic issues at the European Commission's Directorate General for Enlargement, said in an interview for STA. Avery is currently in Slovenia, to present the European Commission's views on further steps in the enlargement process to participants of a conference organised by the Slovenia's Government Office for European Affairs.
