Slovene Cities Mark the European Car Free Day on Saturday
Ljubljana, 22 September - A total of 25 Slovene cities joined the European Car Free Day on Saturday, which is marked in over 1500 European cities, while Slovenia's largest cities, Ljubljana and Maribor, as early as Friday closed their city centres for motorists. Various activities are taking place at the occassion in city centres, which are accessible only on foot, by bicycle or public transport on Saturday.
