Government Adopts Pre-Accession Economic Programme
Ljubljana, 27 September - Slovenia's pre-accession economic programme which lays down the key guidelines of the economic and development policy was adopted by the government on Thursday. The document is part of preparations for EU membership, and until it becomes a full-fledged EU member, Slovenia has to submit the programme to the European Commission on a yearly basis. The programme is due to be sent to Brussels by 1 October.
