Gov't Adopts 2002 and 2003 Budgets, Announces More Spending for Health
Ljubljana, 27 September - The Slovene government adopted the budget bills for 2002 and 2003 which were balanced at its special three-day session held at the last weekend. Both bills are now expected to be sent to parliament on Friday. At Thursday's cabinet meeting the government paid special attention to two other issues concerning the budget, namely the balance of financial claims and investments, as well as a package of measures designed to bring more money for health, Finance Minister Anton Rop revealed following the session.
