Enlargement Process Has to Yield Results, Says PM Drnovsek
Ljubljana, 27 September - The enlargement process has to yield results soon, otherwise EU candidate countries will lose momentum in implementing difficult reforms, Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek said during his key-note address on Thursday at the autumn congress of the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party (ELDR) currently underway in Ljubljana. Drnovsek, who is also the President of the Liberal Democrats of Slovenia (LDS), expressed firm hope that Slovenia would reach its goal of becoming a EU member by 2004.
