Ljubljana Becoming Increasingly Popular Among Tourists
Ljubljana, 28 September - Ljubljana was visited by a record-breaking 83,000 tourists from January through August, which is 54 percent more than in the same period last year. This is the result of numerous congresses, festivals and other events, which not only invite tourists to Ljubljana, but also make them stay, it was said by Ljubljana Mayoress Vika Potocnik and acting manager of the Ljubljana Tourist Board Barbara Vajda at a press conference on Thursday, which also marked the World Tourism Day.
