Ljubljana Stock Exchange Rebounds
Ljubljana, 29 September - Excitement over the the recent terrorist attacks in the U.S. which dominated global stock markets two weeks ago died down this week as trading on global stock markets normalised, which was also reflected on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE). The benchmark SBI 20 index thus gained 34.72 points (1.78 percent) to close the week at 1989.20 points. The free market IPT index was also up, appreciating 29.42 points (1.87 percent) to 1603.50 points, while the authorised investment companies' index gained 38.83 points (2.60 percent) to stand at 1533.24 points. The BIO bond index edged up 0.3 points (0.3 percent) to finish at 109.38 points.
