Slovene Companies Are Miraculously Resistable, IMAD Director Believes
Ljubljana, 29 September - If economic growth was to be in danger of shrinking by several percentage points, the Slovene government has two instruments at its disposal. The first is the wages policy, where it can justify its measures by referring to adjustments to the altered conditions; the other is the public finance policy, enabling the government to either cut expenses or boost demand, Janez Sustersic, director of the government Institute for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development (IMAD) told Saturday's edition of the daily Delo.
