Kucan Speaks about Terrorism and Global Responsibility at a Meeting of Intellectuals

Ljubljana, 1 October - A conference entitled Managing the Future or How to Shape a Different World, opened at the lakeside resort of Bled on Monday with an address by President Milan Kucan, who spoke about the recent tragic events in the U.S. and international terrorism as a global phenomenon. The event, attended by intellectuals and politicians of international renown, has been organised by Transversales Science/Culture from Paris and the Slovene Academy of Science and Arts (SAZU), and is taking place under the patronage of President Kucan.
