NEK Decommission Fund Asks Parliament Not to Initial Agreement on Nuclear Power Plant

Krško, 2 October - The agreement on the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK), harmonised by Slovene and Croatian negotiators at the end of June, is harmful for Slovenia, especially as regards the decomposition of the power plant and the depositing of radioactive waste, the supervisory board of the NEK Decommission Fund said on Tuesday, appealing to the Slovene Parliament not to ratify the agreement.
