FM Rupel Hopes Croatia Will Reconsider Its Stance on Border
Bled, 4 October - Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel hopes that Croatia's move that Parliament should consider international arbitration on the state border with Slovenia, has perhaps prompted Croatia to reconsider its stance on the border issue. Rupel, who met with his Croatian counterpart Tonino Picula on the margins of a meeting of the Vilnius group of NATO applicants on Thursday, also hopes that the the Croatian government would take the final decision on the border within a few weeks and that the Croatian Parliament would back the border agreement eventually.
