Protest to Move Slovenske Elektrarne Holding to Maribor Attracted 300 People

Maribor, 4 October - About 300 protesters gathered in Maribor on Thursday to call on the government to transfer the seat of the Slovene power companies holding Slovenske elektrane from Ljubljana to Maribor, dismiss the Environment Minister, Janez Kopac, not to sell the majority stake in the Maribor-based bank Nova Kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM) to foreign investors and to ensure a regional development of Slovenia.
