Church on Bled Island to Be Returned to Slovene Church in Kind

Ljubljana, 5 October - The demand of the Roman-Catholic parish Bled for the return of real estate at the Lake Bled Island has been denied with the exception of the Church of the Assumption, which is to be returned in kind, the Culture Ministry said in a decision dated 4 October. The decision will finally solve the issue of ownership and open the way to necessary investments on the Lake Bled Island, Culture Minister Andreja Rihter said on Friday.
