Slovenia Bans Slovak and Japanese Cattle Imports Following BSE Cases
Ljubljana, 5 October - The most recent discoveries of cases of mad cow disease in Japan and Slovakia have prompted Slovene agriculture authorities to add both to the list of countries from where it is banned to import live cattle, its meat and other products. The order of that kind is due to take effect on Saturday.
