Slovene Dailies Comment on the Slowdown in Economic Growth

Ljubljana, 6 October - Two Slovene dailies on Saturday respond to Friday's news conference of the Institute for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development (IMAD), which said that Slovenia's GDP increased by 2.9 percent in the first half of 2001 compared to the same period last year, which is much less than 4.4 percent predicted in spring by the IMAD.
