U.S. Armed Forces Leave the Port of Koper
Koper, 6 October - The temporary logistics base of the U.S. SFOR forces in the Slovene Port of Koper has closed on Saturday, the Slovene daily Delo writes. All 35 helicopters that flew in from Bosnia were loaded on a ship in the past days, while the ship left the port on Wednesday evening. The next day the majority of U.S. soldiers left as well, with only a dozen technicians remaining who are to complete the work at the base, Delo writes on Saturday.
