Privatisation of Second Largest Slovene Bank May be in Danger of Failing

Ljubljana, 6 October - The offers that we have received to date for the purchase of the 65-percent stake in the Nova kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM) - the second-largest Slovene bank - are too low and will have to be raised during the negotiating phase of the privatisation process, Slovenia's Finance Minister Anton Rop told the daily Dnevnik on Saturday.
